Our Team
Richard is the President of Rightway Steel, and has successfully managed hundreds of projects in the steel industry. He has served two years as the president of the Utah Steel Fabricators Association, and previously held management positions at PwC, AIG, and Ford Motor Company. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Michigan, and undergraduate degrees from the University of Utah.

A graduate of Brigham Young University, Ron gained over 40+ years of construction management and steel fabrication experience building homes, buildings, and about every other type of structure, successfully completing projects in nearly every industry. He previously owned Uintah Steel which he sold in 2009 before starting Rightway Steel. He retired in 2022.

Zech has worked in the steel industry for 25+ years and has held positions from ironworker to project executive. As Rightway's general manager, he works with clients and vendors to continue a tradition of excellence in steel.

From Steel Mills in the Midwest to owning a steel fab shop in Salt Lake City, Alex has been in the Steel industry for over 20 years. He enjoys playing music, camping and spending time with his family.

Tyler brings 9 years of heavy structural steel project management experience to Rightway, and has is proud to have been part of some of the biggest projects in Utah's recent history. Tyler enjoys golf, fishing and camping with his family, and rooting for his teams.

Nick is responsible for Rightway’s steel detailing activities. He has 20+ years of steel detailing experience, and enjoys mountain biking with his family.

Mark is the senior project manager and oversees all projects once awarded to Rightway. He has 10+ years of steel detailing experience and 7+ years as a Project Manager.

Justin has nearly 20 years of experience leading miscellaneous steel and construction projects, and is now responsible for coordinating Rightway’s field teams and running many of Rightway's medium sized projects. When not in the office, Justin spends his time in the outdoors and adventure traveling.

Justin has 25+ years of experience in the steel industry managing commercial and industrial projects all over the US. He understands ground-up construction and is knowledgeable in pre-engineer building, and when not working could be found enjoying nature or the nearest beach.

Zach is responsible for all material procurement as well as shipping for fabrication projects. He works closely with suppliers and our field team while managing the logistics of projects from start to finish.

PROCUREMENT MANAGER
A former US Marine, Dan brings 35 years of ground-up industrial construction experience to his position as Rightway's operations manager. He is in charge of quality control, material coordination and delivering our steel projects from shop to finished product.

Jake's experience includes 2 years of construction and 2 years of steel detailing. He enjoys working out and fishing.

Desiree is responsible for Rightway's Executive and Financial Operations to ensure workflow is well prepared and runs smoothly. She has been with Rightway since 2015 and has 25+ years of managing operations experience within various industries.
